These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Human Body Explorer ("the app", "we", "our"), an educational anatomy game developed by an independent developer. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
Human Body Explorer is an educational app for learning human anatomy through interactive lessons, quizzes, challenges, clinical cases, and multiplayer modes. The app is available in a free version and a paid PRO version with additional content.
You agree NOT to:
PRO subscriptions unlock additional content (advanced/expert lessons, clinical cases, mechanism challenges). Subscriptions are processed via Stripe (web), Apple App Store, or Google Play. Renewal, cancellation, and refund rules are governed by the respective payment provider's terms. EU consumers retain their statutory 14-day withdrawal right for digital services, except where you have explicitly consented to immediate execution and acknowledged loss of the right of withdrawal.
All content in the app — lessons, slides, quiz questions, challenges, clinical cases, mechanism sequences, animations, illustrations, user interface, code, and translations — is the property of the developer or its licensors and is protected by copyright. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. Anatomical knowledge itself is in the public domain; the specific expression, structure, and curation of that content are not.
Human Body Explorer is an educational tool, not medical advice. Content is for learning purposes only. Do not use the app to self-diagnose, treat, or make health decisions. Always consult a qualified medical professional for clinical questions. The developer is not liable for any decisions made based on app content.
We provide the app on an "as is" basis without warranty of uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. For paid PRO content, we will give reasonable notice of material changes and offer a pro-rata refund if applicable.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer's liability for any claim arising from your use of the app is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (e.g., for gross negligence or willful misconduct under Polish/EU consumer law).
You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible. Upon termination, your access ceases and unused PRO subscription time may be refunded pro-rata at our discretion.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Poland. Disputes will be resolved by the courts competent for the developer's place of business, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
